its Party time! | Blue Mountains Photographer
You will remember a few weeks ago that Master R came up to my home studio and smashed a cake! Well today I delivered the Invitation to his Mummy so she can start inviting all the lucky guests to celebrate his first birthday!
This is why I recommend having the cake smash about 4-6 weeks before the birthday! SO you can choose your favourite image as the invite!
Here it is! What a cute invite hey!

If you are interested in doing a cake smash or any other kind of session you can contact me here….
I have few birthdays coming up at my house so I will be back next week to share a few of their images. I make an album up of my children each year on their Birthday! It is a great way to give them a special treat and also to keep a beautiful record of how they are growing – as we all know they grow way to fast!
Have a great week everyone!

Master R’s 1st Birthday Cake Smash! | Blue Mountains Photographer
Today I had the pleasure of photographing Master R for the 4th time! He just gets cuter every time! His smile gets bigger, he laughs more and is really getting good at looking right into the camera for me..
He will be turing 1 soon, which I just can’t believe, so no idea how his Mum, Dad and big brother are getting their head around how fast he is growing.
He loved his cake! as you’ll see when you take a look at a few of his images. We are goind to put an album together celebrating Master R’s first year! I can’t wait to see it put together. We have one more shoot to do before that though a family shoot so we can get a BIG wall canvas which is something Master R’s dad has wanted since my first visit back when we did a newborn session!
OK here are a few images!
Look how cute he is!!!
Then off came the good clothes ready for MESS!!!!! and he got straight into it….

He soon worked out what the smarties were and picked them off!

What fun! If you are interested in a cake smash let me know. These are great for babies turning 1 or 2, and if you want to use one of the images for the invitation then best to organise the Cake Smash session at least 4 weeks prior to the Party date!
Ok some business…. I have one more session booked in before the start of school holidays then I am taking a well deserved break. I have a break from College after I have done one more exam – I am counting down! I am very proud of my results but really looking forward to taking some time off with the kids! So I will be back to work on the 23rd of July for studio sessions and the 24th for location sessions! I am booked out in September – so all of those who are waiting for warmer weather please contact me soon. Christmas will be here before we know it. I have a few sessions available in October and November, which will be a busy time for me as my course will be finishing up. So if you want to book in like I said please do so soon as there will be limited places. I do have plenty of space in August at this stage!
Hope you all enjoyed the images! We had a ball doing this session! Hope little Master R does not have a tummy ache!
Thanks for stopping by! have a great weekend!

Celebrating a new life! | Blue Mountains Family photographer
Today I had the honour of witnessing a family welcome the newest member of their family. Little Master M was Baptised today and the family invited me along to capture some wonderful memories. I have a few photos ready for them to see, The rest will be about 2 weeks, and I know there are some very excited people waiting for them, so I will do my best to get them ready quickly.

We were worried it was going to be raining. Instead we had to find ways to keep cool. The Men did very well to wear their jackets! This weather is crazy! This means that the session that has been rescheduled 3 times was also done today! I will be back with the Johnston’s session sneak peek in the morning! We had a wonderful morning in the bush today with some fabulous views!
Thank you again for having me today, I hope these moments we captured today are everything you hoped for!
Have a great time at the reception and I will speak to you all soon!

Santas coming in 8 weeks!
I did the dreaded groceries today, run into another school mum also doing the dreaded groceries – IS there anyone who enjoys doing the groceries? I know the kids love running through the door after school to see what I have bought, and I know it feels good to see the fruit bowl full and the fridge spilling over but to actually walk around with the trolley EWWWWWWWW!!! worse job. I’d rather do washing and ironing. Anyway today the shop was a little different there were Santa hats and antler ears as well as so much festive food!!! Cakes, lollies, Chocolates It got me thinking how soon is Christmas then???> I looked it up 8 weeks and 1 day!!! Where has this year gone?? What happened to it?
Anyway goes without saying we bought a hat! Next week I might buy the Antler Ears. Master 3 was so excited to have his photo taken so I thought I’d make up a collage.. Isn’t he cute?

If anyone would like a collage put together like this contact me and we can set a date to do a shoot. It will have to be before the end of November so that you can get them ready in time for Christmas. They would make great Christmas Card to send to your family!
Better head off and make some dinner – since we have so much food in the house ( for now)

What a weekend of celebrations!
Well the long weekend is over and we are exhausted and full! We have eaten so much fairy bread and birthday cake today! Face biscuits and party pies! We’ve had lollies and chocolate, Oh and I added some fruit to the table! We have been on Thomas rides and hit pinata’s, we’ve danced and jumped on jumping castles
Early night tonight as school holidays here I also am hoping for a sleep in! after such a huge weekend I think there is a good chance that may happen.

And H on the jumping Castle before seeing the Joker! It was a Batman Castle and he freaked out and refused to go near the castle once he saw the Joker – right by the door of the castle! Castle was from Funtime Jumping Castles! They will deliver their castles between the Lower Blue Mountains and Parramatta! They have a few to choose from – next time I think we will try Shrek!

Could sleep for a week! We have been hearing about this party for months AND I think he had a fantastic day. next countdown Christmas! Last year we were away for Christmas in Italy So our little one will not remember our Christmas Tree and decorations! Going to be very exciting.
Hope everyone kept dry over this very wet cold Long weekend! ( we didn’t)

James and Rebecca – Engagement sneak peak!
Well today I met with James and Rebecca in a location that is typical to Australia, as all of James family besides his Mum live in the UK and he wanted to show off the beauty of our great outdoors! Although it is only spring here it did reach 33 degrees Celsius today so we met early ( 8am ) so that we avoided the super bright weather.
I am going to be photographing their wedding in November this year so you will all be seeing a little more of these two and all their family and friends later in the year. Todays shoot was a get to know each other and something I offer all perspective Brides and Grooms as I do not believe you can choose a wedding Photographer based on price alone. Your wedding day is a super special and very intimate day and it is important that you feel comfortable with the photographer you chose and also confident that you like the photographers style.
So a few photos of today! and more can be found here

There are lots more to come- The weather really put on a spectacular show for us over the long grass! and after these we moved to a few more locations! So I will put a few more up through the week!
Thanks for stopping by hope you all made the most of the weekend!

A sneak peak from the weekend
I have already posted a photo from this shoot, but as I have just uploaded their private gallery I thought I would add another image! As I said earlier there were 26 members of this family – 10 of which were the grandchildren.

The grandchildren ranged in ages from 3 to 24 so this is the first time they have all been photographed together. Such a wonderful thing to have photos of everyone together!
I have booked a weekend away for the 5/6th of September so am unavailable that weekend, but if anyone is interested in booking here is the booking form. I only have 6 available appointments where I can promise Christmas delivery – so if you were planning on having Christmas portraits taken make sure you contact me. Don’t forget that all bookings in October/November can purchase the portrait folios( pictured below) at half price ( with the purchase of a 20×30 wall mount or an album ) These make wonderful christmas presents for the grandparents. I also have 2 appointment times where you can qualify for a bonus brag book – also pictured below.

Thank you for stopping by – everyone that was at the 50th Anniversary Celebration over the weekend your gallery is open – Melissa will contact you all to give you the login details. Thank you so much for letting me capture your special day.

Celebrating 50 years!
Today I met a family of 26 – 3 generations meeting up for lunch to celebrate the 50th wedding anniversary of their parents/grandparents. It was a beautiful day for a long family lunch so I am sure that once I left they all relaxed and enjoyed the celebrations!
Here is a photo of the happy couple celebrating their 50th Wedding Anniversary – sure there are lots of us out there hoping we one day have a huge family of children and grandchildren around us to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. YaY it’s Friday!
Well I hope everyone has had a great week! I had a client come to pick up her photos this afternoon and we got talking about our holidays – both us us were in Paris last year. She was there in their summer, us in the winter, so it got me looking back over my photos. OH I wish I was there for the weekend now!
