I can’t believe my eldest is 13! I am the mum of a teenager…. sure we all sit back and say how did that happen? We only brought him home from hospital a few months back??? how did 13 years fly so fast?

Well it has and he is 13! and I am the mother of a 13 year old, which of course means I am getting old too…..

Cam big love and hugs to you from all of us! Hope you had a great day ( and that you prove to be a good teenager – no need to turn into a moody monster now that we don’t recognise….) stay just as you are.

Can’t image how quickly that milkshake will turn to a beer at the pub…. hoping time slows down a little and gives me the chance to get used to the idea of you being a man…..

It has been so wet lately that it is near impossible to sit and concentrate at the computer without going outside. So I took my camera out and my little ones favourite Bubbles! and I managed to grab a few images of each of my three. Always exciting when I get time to photograph my own babies! Although it is getting harder each day to capture Mr 13 as you can tell by his photo! lol! oh well I still got one and it is him as he is now…..

I finally took my little one out today to play with bubbles. We bought them ages ago and after putting them up out of the way forgot about them, until today when I was clearing out my space and I came across them. Bubbles are so much fun I don’t thing there is anyone that does not crack a smile when a child chases bubbles!
I went overboard on images to blog as I can’t choose which ones not to share…. So much fun! even seeing these he was in hysterics!

How cute is he? even after he was attacked by a thorn bush! I could have Photoshopped that out but I think it is all part of childhood! So I want to remember that!

Ok off to cook a few meals to get us through the week! School is back!!!! One day left of holidays and then its back to lunches and homework!, early rises and uniforms!!! Blah countdown til the October Holidays I think!!!!

I have another announcement – I am now offering Digital files.. I was getting asked quite often for Digital negatives and was quite hesitant in offering them as I did not want to compromise the quality of prints that My wonderful clients received. At the same time I realise that people want to share their images online and up load them to their mobiles and Ipod/Pads and of course use them as screen savers and in their Digital frames. So I have come up with a compromise that I think will be perfect. Once you have ordered a certain level of Pro quality images you can either purchase or receive the Digital files as a bonus. I think this is a great idea, as I said I do understand why people want the files, But I don’t want clients to miss out on the high quality product that I offer. The digital files will be converted to a colour space that is compatible with your local mini lab, as this colour space is much smaller than the colour space my Pro lab uses you will notice a difference in the vibrancy and depth of the colours but as you will have a range of images/Albums/canvas mounts etc… I am sure you will be OK with this and of course I will still hold the larger file so you can also order further prints later if you choose. If you are interested head into the tab at the top that says prices… all the details are there….

As promised I will release the details of the Christmas Packages in the next few weeks….. If you are interested you can drop me an email to reserve a spot! the dates again for the Christmas special are 2nd,9th,16th and 23rd of October….. And extended families are more than welcome!

Now for a few images! I love winter!!! I only like going to the beach in winter…. Weird I know. but the sky is always so Blue! and you can sit on the beach and feel good about sitting in the sun. No chance of sun burn! So we usually go to the beach during winter for a holiday! Which is what we did this winter break. I think maybe by the time we move to the UK I might like the beach in summer? but for now I will continue to enjoy my winter beach trips!

I like to put an album together each year of my children. It’s a lovely idea that I do each year around their birthday. This way I remember when it’s time to do their album and it is my little extra gift to them, where they get to spend a day being pampered by Mum. This year I attempted to do this while on our little Down South break. It was not so successful so we have some time put aside next week just Lou and I. All she wanted was for me to hurry so she did not miss out on what Mark was doing with the boys ( he was just playing with them to keep them out of our way? ) Anyway I managed a few so thought I’d share a couple here!

I can not believe how fast time flies!

I have also updated my prices tab and the special offers to include a special package I have put together for Newborn sessions. If you are pregnant at the moment or know someone that is please take a look! It is such a gorgeous time to capture your baby and those first moments of babies life. I have a studio set up in my home especially for newborns, which together with a few props we can create a custom set of images for you to cherish forever! It is best to book in your session as soon as you can as we need the session to be as flexible as possible. The way I take bookings for newborns is just around the time of expected birth? that way if they arrive early or a little late, as you are pencilled in I can be flexible with the time slots knowing I am expecting you! The package has been put together to include 20 copies of your favourite image so you can hand them out to everyone without leaving yourself without a copy! Perfect for popping in with your thank you card, to all those that spoil your little one when he arrives! There are a few examples of my Newborn work here! I took a little trip down south this week with my children! We had a lovely relaxing time, just hanging out at the beach and the indoor pool! We fit a trip in to the Zoo while Mark was with us over the weekend too. I got some great shots of the Giraffe again and a little family of Monkeys. The baby was so cute!

I also got a few of my own children, which is always a treat for me! Love school holidays for just this reason! Can you believe in the middle of winter they actually swam in the ocean???? Crazy!!!


We had a lovely time, and now it is time to get ready for the back to school routine… I will miss these holidays they have been so relaxing!

I did spend a little time doddling in my note book and over the next couple of days have a few new releases to announce! A little hint is for October Christmas sessions! I will be putting 4 weekends aside in October to hold special Christmas sessions. I spent the weekend volunteering at the APPA awards in Melbourne. I had a fantastic time, not much time to wander around Melbourne so I only managed a few shots. I have one to share today!

I really did have a wonderful weekend. I learnt so much and had so much fun! BUT next time I need to make more time for taking photos! I did manage to get a series for an assignment which is fantastic as I have so much work at the moment with the end of Semester.

Yesterday we went to Penrith White Water Rafting, it was cold but the boys did not seem to care. They had a blast! It was our sons first time. I got some great shots. 63 great shots…. here are a few!

By now he was well relaxed and really enjoying himself! He makes it look easy!

They were aware I was there! LOL!!!!This was the last rapid of the day! they all swam to shore from here!

I have been a little quiet lately but all that is about to change I have an engagement session this weekend with Beth and Alex who will be married in September and then in June I have a family session in Melbourne, a cake smash followed by a family session for MasterR who you may remember ( I have photographed him 3 times already since he was born, then I am celebrating Miss A’s 2nd birthday who you also may remember, She was a little fairy at her first Birthday celebration last year!

I am taking bookings for July now if anyone is interested! as well as August. I am booked out in September too! So if you want spring photos I suggested getting in Early as quite a few are booking already!

So I will see you all back here on the weekend with a little preview of Beth and Alex’s engagement session! It is going to be special! Can’t wait.!!

Well you could not ask for Bluer skies~ how gorgeous is today! I love Autumn the spectacular colours are amazing, not just on the trees. Mostly the sky! it is so blue!
We went off for a bike ride at the lake, I of course took my camera and am so pleased I did!

Opps! A little sun flare – sometimes you just need the shot – it does not have to be perfect!

The older two were too fast for me to get photos of but they were there! So was I but as always behind the lens… will need to work on that?

Hello! I have been spending a bit of time with my new lens and I am loving it…… Here are a few I have taken over the last week. It is so much fun as you can play with proportions and distort things – I have a few funny ones of the kids with HUGE noses which I wont share but they do give us a giggle.

Since our holiday the kids LOVE pink Lemonade! and look how BIG this one is...

This one was scary as I was so close while they flew past me!
