Beth and Alex get Married! | Blue Mountains Wedding Photographer
Today I had a fantastic day with two very lovely families and witnessed them become one big family! They were all so excited and although the wind could have blown them away they all had the most wonderful time as Beth and Alex became Mr and Mrs Peck. I spent the afternoon with Beth and her family and I have a few images to share of the special moments while she and her bridesmaids, Mum, sister and niece got ready. I will come back and share a few of the boys getting ready tomorrow, that Ona captured, and of course there will be the ceremony and portraits. For now after a lovely day I have them all backed up and so it is time for me to relax with a glass of red!
Thanks again to Beth, Alex and all the family and friends for making today so wonderful.

Thanks again to Beth, Alex and all the family and friends for making today so wonderful.

Baby R’s Family | Blue Mountains Family Photographer
Today as promised I have a few photos to share. Yesterday I met little Master R, today I got to meet his big brothers! We had a lovely afternoon playing and doing the things 8 Year old boys like to do! They took it in turns showing me how well they could ride their scooters and ribstick, then we moved on to ball skills! They like to play football and soccer so we did both! Then we went inside to get a few of Baby R in his nursery! before we updated the family portrait, we ended with a funny shot that we knew the boys would be keen to be in!
I love Lifestyle shoots where I get to hang out with the family capturing their everyday life. Life in that relaxed mode that you can only capture at home! Here are a few of my favourite shots! I look forward to meeting with Angela on Friday when she is going to pick out an image to use as Baby R’s announcement! And I can’t wait to start designing their coffee table book!

And lastly the completed family having some fun!

I hope everyone is having a great weekend! And making the most of the glorious weather we are having! I will be back next weekend with some Wedding photos!
Thanks for stopping by!

Saturday Afternoon at Glenbrook Lagoon | Blue Mountains Photographer
I have been stuck in the house since Tuesday with a sick little boy so I actually enjoyed going shopping today, which is something I normally HATE! Then this afternoon my older two allowed me to photograph them…. oh the privilege. I got some lovely shots and can finally start putting their birthday albums together. I make an album each year for their birthdays as a keep sake. This year we have been really busy and had lots of illness so it has been a month since my daughters birthday, better late than never though. And taking a look at the photos I can say that the wait was worth it!!!
Here are a few of my favourites! I have even been promised that we can get some more shots tomorrow…. I’d like to say my children love doing things that make their Mum happy but truth is…. while shopping today I might have got some info on updating our game console after a miserable night on our very old play station! and ummm well unless I get the birthday albums well all you parents out there know the rest of the story…hehehheheheh!!!! Some mums would want breakfast in bed… I want subjects to photograph!

I have my wine poured and feel great that I got to get out today and even better my camera came out of it’s bag!!! 4 days in a bag is a long time for this photo crazy lady…..
Hope everyone enjoys their weekend!!!

Gift Certificates | Blue Mountains Photographer
I had a call yesterday from a lady who wanted to give the gift of custom Photography to one of her best friends, so this morning I have put on my design hat and come up with a Gift Certificate. This is what I came up with! Very simple yet hopefully elegant. I will get some designed by a graphic designer I think but for now I have them available so if you would like to purchase one let me know!

I can make them out to any amount you choose, so if you think this will make the perfect gift for someone you love let me know!
Hope you are all enjoying the beautiful winter sun! I am about to get my hammock out and have a sleep in the sun I think. I have a cold I really want to shake! especially as I have a newborn session coming up!
THanks for stopping by

13 Today! |Blue Mountains Photographer
I can’t believe my eldest is 13! I am the mum of a teenager…. sure we all sit back and say how did that happen? We only brought him home from hospital a few months back??? how did 13 years fly so fast?
Well it has and he is 13! and I am the mother of a 13 year old, which of course means I am getting old too…..
Cam big love and hugs to you from all of us! Hope you had a great day ( and that you prove to be a good teenager – no need to turn into a moody monster now that we don’t recognise….) stay just as you are.
Here he is my beautiful boy!

Can’t image how quickly that milkshake will turn to a beer at the pub…. hoping time slows down a little and gives me the chance to get used to the idea of you being a man…..
Love you Always
Mum

Day of Sunshine | Blue Mountains Photographer
It has been so wet lately that it is near impossible to sit and concentrate at the computer without going outside. So I took my camera out and my little ones favourite Bubbles! and I managed to grab a few images of each of my three. Always exciting when I get time to photograph my own babies! Although it is getting harder each day to capture Mr 13 as you can tell by his photo! lol! oh well I still got one and it is him as he is now…..

Hope everyone else is having a relaxing weekend and making the most of the wonderful winter sunshine!
Don’t forget all the special offers I have at the moment! Look forward to hearing from you soon!

Christmas Sessions!! |Blue Mountains Photographer
So its time to book your Christmas session! Can you believe Christmas has come so quickly? Well technically we still have plenty of time if we plan well. See having the session means I have the files but you can’t very well give them as a gift. So we need to have all sessions finished by the 23rd of October so that we have plenty of time to get prints ordered and albums designed, as well as giving the framer time to frame the beautiful prints you give to your loved ones as Christmas Gifts! So heres how Christmas sessions will work this year!
Sessions will be held in October you have a choice of 4 dates – 2nd, 9th, 16th and 23rd. Orders will have to be placed and paid for by the 6th of November 2010 so that I can promise Christmas delivery.
Each session comes with 10 5×7 prints and 2 8×10 prints. These sessions are valued at $695 but as a Christmas special they will cost you only $275, that is a savings of $420!!!! There is also the chance to grab some fantastic bonuses. See the image below for details.
There is no limit on how many families you can have at your session, as each family pays $275 and each family gets there own set of prints. So a great time to get the extended family together and get some great Christmas Gifts for the grandparents. There is even the chance to get the Grandparents an Album as a bonus gift!!!!
The Booking fee of $275 per family is payable within 7 days of booking, and due to the time of year and the discounts being offered I can not hold session times if the booking fee is not paid. You can hold your session within a 1/2 an hour drive of The Lower Blue Mountains, if you have a group of 3 or more families then you can choose your location up to 2 hours drive of The Lower Blue Mountains.

So get the family together and book your session,
Look forward to hearing from you soon!

Winter special | Blue Mountains Photographer
Hi everyone,
What a wet miserable day we are having here today! I did have plans for a picnic and bike ride but had to cancel! SO I have spent the afternoon coming up with a great promotion for the month of August!
I make no secret of the fact that I love WINTER!!! but it seems not everyone agrees! Why do I love winter? Well the light is amazing…. I can take photos all day without worrying about the harsh summer sun giving deep shadows and glare, as well as the dreaded sun flare that are all issues I work around in summer! In winter you can take images in the full sun and the light is so soft and flattering. Then there are the snuggly clothes, the hats and beanies, as well as the scarfs and big thick winter coats!
So I have put together a special for the month of August to see if I can get a few of you to see the advantage of the Winter session! All sessions will come with a bonus 8×10 inch print, so if you also sign a model release you will in fact get two bonus 8×10 inch prints. You can then choose to order more prints or products from my A La Carte price list or if you choose to purchase a package you will have the choice of even more bonuses. Don’t forget you can also add Digital files to your order too now!
Here is a beautiful image I took of my Daughter at the beach this winter! with all the details!
This image is definitely going to be in her 11th Birthday album! I love that my children were all born during great light months!! lol!!
Keep dry everyone! and seriously give some thought to a WINTER SESSION!!!! contact me here if you are tempted!
